Our ninth featured practitioner in this series is MAT Practitioner, Kirk Bradshaw. Kirk is formally educated in Athletic Medicine and is certified as an MAT specialist, an MAT mastery specialist, and an MATRx practitioner. He completed his undergraduate degree at Washington State University where he worked with division I athletes specializing in women's basketball and Football. After graduating Kirk worked as a Head Athletic Trainer for Kamiak High School in Mukilteo, Washington as well as multiple physical therapy clinics.
As an MATRx practitioner, Kirk practices an approach targeting and removing causation of symptoms and faulty movement. Kirk started the Athletic Training Institute in 2003 with the intent of providing highly educated professionals with a facility to work with clients providing the most cutting-edge techniques for injury prevention and performance enhancement. Kirk works one on one with clients utilizing the MATRx techniques to reduce the causation of symptoms and improve performance.
